About
Eric Worcester Architecture is a full service architectural firm creating buildings, environments and spaces of a variety of types and scales. EWA uses architecture as an instrument that explores, then stages, encounters between Sites and Users. Projects are typically begun in the programming phase and ideally taken through construction. Throughout the life a project EWA participates in a level of detail that connects the work with a culture's current technological apparatus as well as to it's collective ideals. To be able to claim that a project Fits, a successful mediation between ideals and systems, sites and users must be practiced.
Eric Worcester is a practicing architect based in Brooklyn, NY. In 1999 Eric founded the interdisciplinary firm Manifold as a means to explore architecture and its wider relevance. In 2013 Eric Worcester Architecture was formed to focus specifically on handling commissions. Projects by EWA and Manifold span a range of types, including buildings and interiors, and speculative urbanism and related artwork.
